SOCIETY INFORMATION

The Society meets every Wednesday evening from September to April inclusive at the Bowls Pavilion, Castle Sports Centre, Albion Street, Spalding at 7.30pm.

We usually have a guest speaker or a competition (see Program page). The Society welcomes all abilities, ages and both film and digital, prints and slides. In addition to the winter programme, outings and events are arranged on an occasional basis during the summer break. A studio group also meet as and when. As well as the standard slide projector, the Society has just purchased a new laptop and digital projector to cater for the digital photographer.

The Society is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) through the North and East Midlands Photographic Federation (NEMPH) and the Lincolnshire Photographic Association (LPA).

Should new members wish to join us, they would be most welcome. Annual membership subscriptions (for 2007/2008 season) are as follows:

Single Membership - £15.00
Joint Membership - £25.00
Students in Full Time Education - £5.00

During the year, we have various competitions including an Aggregate competition (a total of 9 prints/slides/digital images which are each judged out of 20), Three on a Theme and a fixed Four on a Theme. The annual awards are given to:
